Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS Allahabad) is situated in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. Established in 1910, SHUATS has received "A Grade" accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a subsidiary of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University was given an "A" rating by MHRD. Both the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and the ICFRE (Indian Council of Forest Research Education) have given the accreditation to SHUATS in 2009 & 2010, respectively. It is expected that for admission to any university in Odisha (or any university in any other state), you would need your degree from SHUATS Allahabad.
